Kayak de Fe

The ranch made a connection with the school that recently came out for the adaptive riding clinics and as a result we were invited to celebrate with them on Children’s Day (Dia de los niños) which is a national holiday here in Mexico. It  was a blessing to come alongside the school; their teachers, their families, and the students as they celebrated the life of their children. The ranch specifically came alongside with the use of our recently refurbished kayaks. It was a  joy to use the kayaks to minister to the kids of this school as I (Pete) gravitate to using  recreational therapy as a form of counseling and find it a great way to engage people in conversation. It was also an incredible experience as my first official experience in a kayak in the Baja…I was paddling around kids with down syndrome and autism. What a treasure to see the joy on their faces and their parents. We pray we can continue to grow our partnership with this school and continue to use the ranch’s resources to minister to the people of La Paz.

Pete and Emily – I have always believed in your ministry, but now you are really tugging on my therapist heart strings with your adaptive recreational ministries :). Praise God for starting this work! Praying for all of you!

    • Thanks, Tracy! 🙂 Maybe one day we can convince you to come down here and offer some more training and ideas for us. Thanks for your prayers and support. We really appreciate your family!!
