Mexican Fiesta

Last night we and a close group of friends hosted a Mexican Fiesta for interested people at our church. It was a good time to share of God’s faithfulness and provision in our lives and share our passion for the people of Mexico. We made many good connections with people and as always felt humbled by the support and encouragement of those around us.

We served “Mexican Cheesecake” as our dessert….What makes it Mexican you ask…?…well…the flags of course. I tried to see if people would put hot sauce on it to make it truly Mexican…but no takers!

The people wearing the “Sombreros of Superiority” won a trivia contest and got to wear the hats to show off their superior intellect for the rest of the evening. We also gave them some corn tostados, gringo salsa, and two cans of coconut water to share as a table!

Even though we are transitioning into missions…we are still youth pastors at heart!

Thanks to all for your show of continued support and encouragement. It means more than you know.
